MEET THE AUTHOR
Scott Cummings is an author, speaker, and outdoorsman. His hunt and travel articles, product reviews, and photography have appeared in many media outlets and magazines like Adventure Sports Outdoors, Bear Hunting, Covey Rise, Exotic Wildlife, Fair Safari, MidWest Outdoors, Shooting Sportsman, Upland Almanac, and many more.
A retired art educator from Indiana, Cummings (M.Ed., M.Div.) was formerly named Conservation Educator of the Year for National Wild Turkey Federation and Wildlife Forever for his work with children in and out of the classroom.
Scott has held shepherding, mentoring, and equipping roles in Men’s Ministry dynamics, helping various church denominations start or revamp their current men’s programming. He’s directed men’s equipping conferences at the local, state, and national-regional levels in Indiana.
As empty nesters, the Pennsylvania native and his wife chose the warmer weather of the South Carolina Lowcountry in 2021. His latest efforts have been thrown at book projects, fishing, and raising his bird dog.
